Designing and developing a logical structure of intended learning outcomes (ILOs) by using a diagrammatic technique, is a challenge for instructional designers in their systematic design and development of curriculum. In this paper, an ILO diagram – a novel conceptual model for curriculum development, is proposed. The modelling of ILOs and its components are introduced as well as the relationships and constraints of the ILO diagram are proposed.
