Large commercial and research establishments wh o attempt to reuse software to construct operable systems confront the problem of code management. The increasin g availability and usage of Computer Aided Software Engineering, CASE, tools coupled with the production of highly reusable code modules induces the need for mor e sophisticated and versatile library management facilities .
