This paper describes an object oriented design approach that uses classification mappings rather than conventional structured mappings in design. It argues that design in environments where a large number of choices can be used to create designs proceeds in an unstructured manner. The design process can be structured by providing support for mappings between analysis and design objects using different classification schemes. The paper illustrates this approach in the CSCW domain.Read the full paper here: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/BFb0020546
