The paper presents an approach to robust extraction of specific concepts from differently serialized BPMN models. Based on empirically identified structural differences in XSD-serialized BPMN models, we propose a rule-based approach to overcome such problems. The implemented extractor has been applied to several differently serialized BPMN models.
