Today’s large-scale computing systems are deployed in open, changing and unpredictable environments. To operate reliably, such systems should be able to adapt to new circumstances on their own to get them running and keep them running. Self-adaptive software system has been proposed as a good solution for this demand. However, very few techniques are available to date for systematically building such kind of system. Aiming at this requirement, this paper presents a sound approach to derive a self-adaptive software architecture model from the requirements goal model in systematic way.
