Many current extended entity relationship (EER) models lack the support for complex objects, versioning and slightly explore the aggregation concept. O2XER (Object Oriented extensions to the ER-model) is partially based on an existing EER model (ERC+), and bridges the gab. The concept of complex object is further explored and exploited while aggregation inheritance and versions are added as useful concepts in modelling complex environments. This paper focuses on these extensions and its corresponding operations. Its successful usage is illustrated in an innovative electronic multi media document delivery system for libraries, currently under development at Tilburg University.Read the full paper here: https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/BFb0024353
