This paper describes a videoobject data model and the design and implementation of our pmtotype videoobject database system named OW based on the model. Notable features of our videoobject data model an to provide (1) a mechanism to share common descriptiod data among videoobjects, called Qinterval-inclusion based inheritance,” and (2) operations to compite video-objects.
