Privacy has been frequently identified as a main concern for systems that deal with personal information. However, much of existing work on privacy requirements deals with them as a special case of security requirements, thereby overlooking key aspects of privacy. In this paper, we address this problem by proposing an ontology for privacy requirements. The ontology is mined from the literature through a systematic literature review whose main purpose is to identify key concepts/relationships for capturing privacy requirements.
