Cloud computing is radically transforming the IT industry and, as these concepts pervade and evolve throughout business and society, the Information Systems (IS) community must seize opportunities to address important research challenges. We call for IS research leadership on challenges critical to the successful analysis, design, deployment, and use of cloud computing strategies and applications. We identify promising future IS research directions.
